Do you like a good friendship book? If you do, read this book. One day Darcy invited all her friends except one, because Candace doesn’t like Maya. Maya wanted someone to go to Six Flags with her, but they were all at Darcy’s house. The next day when Maya is at school all of her so-called friends are very mean to her except two of her friends. When Maya was standing in the lunch line, Renee comes up to her and try’s to talk to her, but Maya won’t listen to any word Renee says. Then, Maya starts to listen to her and becomes her friend. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it.

I just read the book Stormchaser, from the series The Edge Chronicles. The book is about Twig, a creature from the Deepwoods, looking with his father, Quintinius Verginix (a sky pirate) for the sacred substance of Stormphrax. To find Stormphrax, one must enter deeply into a Great Storm. A Great Storm only comes once every two or three years, so if you miss it even by the faintest minute, you have failed. To get to the Great Storm, Twig and his father must sail high in the sky ship, Stormchaser, to hunt it down. Stormphrax is needed in the town of Sanctaphrax to weigh it down, and also in Undertown to create Phraxdust. A single speck of Phraxdust will purify even the dirtiest of waters. Will Twig and his father succeed, or will the Great Storm swallow them whole? This is a great book for extreme fantasy lovers. I recommend this book to kids ages eleven through thirteen. Can you handle the suspense, or will you get swallowed up too?

Franny won the science fair and the principle read Franny’s whole name Franny Kissypie Stein. Every body laughed at her. So Franny built a time machine and went in the past to change her middle name. I think that you should read this SUPPER GREAT BOOK!

Trying to figure out what is wrong leads to a lot of trouble. It turns out the principal is… well, you have to read the book to figure that out. I recommend this book to people over eight years old.

Wells wrote The War of the Worlds. H.G. Wells thought of flying to the moon many years before rockets were invented. In War of the Worlds there are Martians that come from Mars. The Martians are many years advanced with technology. You will never want to stop reading War of the Worlds. I highly recommend this book to fifth graders and up because of high vocabulary.

Who knew that mice could sing? A Mouse Called wolf is a wonderful story about a mouse that is a REALLY good singer. With the help of Mrs. Honeybee he could become the first mouse singer.
Mary (wolf’s mother) goes out on the Grand piano and tries to sing but all that comes out is a high pitch squeak. Mrs. Honeybee is not impressed by that, and looks at wolf with a disgusted face.
Something interesting in this story is that Mrs. Honeybee turns out to be nice. From what I inferred in the beginning, when they first meet Mrs. Honeybee I thought that she was going to be mean, but she is very nice. After Mrs.Honeybee and Wolf hung out more, Mrs. Honeybee started to give Wolf and his mother Mary little chocolate candies.
I recommend this book to kids and adults who like animals.

Fern always goes to see Wilbur at her Mr. Zuckerman’s farm (her uncle’s farm). One day Wilber hears a soft voice, in the morning he finds out that the voice was a small spider named Charlotte. One of the sheep in the barn tells Wilbur that he is going to be Christmas dinner. Charlotte hears the conversation and tries to help Wilbur. Is Wilbur saved or is he Christmas dinner? This heart-warming book will keep you reading and reading.

“Ahhhhh!” Duke screamed as his horn sprouted another inch out of his forehead. Duke is Claire’s cousin visiting from who knows where, and was caught bullying Claire by the wrong person. The person turned out to be a blue wing fairy that has the power to do anything to anyone. She gave Duke a horn on his forehead, and to get rid of it he has to do a good deed. If he keeps being mean though, the horn will keep expanding. Not only does Claire have to get Duke to do a good deed, but also she has to get her parents back from stone to life. It turns out that the thing holding the feather that turns them back to life is the head troll, Bodacious Deepthink. Claire and Duke join forces with some other trolls to re-gain the stone feather. It is up to Claire, Duke, and the trolls to bring their parents back to life before it’s too late. I recommend this book to any kids who love fantasy and are always ready for a nail biting adventure.
